Cannot burn an audio CD? Getting Licensing Errors?

Music downloaded from our service needs to be licensed. Each song acquires a license the first time it plays. So your first concern is to play/open each track to get a license. After acquiring the license open Media Player and burn an audio CD by using the "BURN" feature of Media Player. In other words the software you are using to burn an audio CD might not be compatible with the licensing process.

Cannot transfer music downloaded to portable player?

First and foremost you need to make sure your player is WMA compatible. Music downloaded from our service needs to be licensed. Each song acquires a license the first time it plays. So your first concern is to play/open each track to get a license. After acquiring the license open Media Player and use the "SYNC" feature of Media Player to transfer songs to your portable player. In other words if you player is compatible with WMA the program you are using to transfer the music might not be compatible with the licensing process.

You cannot play music cause of licensing issues?

First of all make sure you use Media Player to play music downloaded from our site. If you do use Media Player and still cannot get a license or you are getting licensing errors then make sure there is no Firewall or other Internet Security software that might be blocking the process. Disable that feature or add the Media Player process in the exceptions and retry playing the song.

"Unknown Error" or "Secure storage protection error" when playing music?

This is a very rare problem BUT we need to address it. If you indeed getting the above titled errors then in most cases a reinstallation of Media Player will do the trick. To find out more on this type of errors visit Microsoft's website.

Tip: This problem usually applies to users with Media Player 9 or 10. We do not have any feedback from either users nor Microsoft for this problem occuring on Media Player 11.

Transfering from one PC to another & licensing.

Please do not forget to always backup your music and music licenses if you are using Media Player 9 or 10. Details for such process you can find here. Users of Media Player 11 do not have the option to backup nor restore licenses. For this purpose we added a feature of issuing a new license for each song. You can find a link under each purchased song that serves this purpose of relicensing. Remember you can only get a new license up to 5 times within a period of 1 year. That is a rule placed by Music Labels to avoid excesive use and piracy on the licensing process.

You are getting an "Identifier Not Found" error.

The above message means that the download was not completed succesfully. Just redownload the track and everything should be fine.
